2023年2月下旬、休日を利用して直島へ旅してきました。久しぶりの旅行！２日目、その３。この日は多忙なスケジュール。午前中は直島の家プロジェクトを鑑賞。南寺の次は安藤忠雄ミュージアムを訪れます。
In late February 2023, I traveled to Naoshima for a holiday. First trip in a long time! Day2. Episode 3. It is a busy schedule for this day. In the morning, we will view the Naoshima House Project. After viewing the Minamidera Temple, we will visit the Tadao Ando Museum.

半地下に降りると、写真と模型の展示が広がっています。
On the semi-basement floor, photographs and models are on display.
光の教会 / Church of light
安藤忠雄氏の光の教会の模型。模型とはいえ、コンクリート製なのが、さすが。
A model of Tadao Ando's Church of Light. It is made very precisely in concrete.
美術館に差し込む光 / Light shining into the museum
天窓からわずかに差し込む光。研磨されたコンクリートに美しく反射しています。
The slight light shining through the skylight reflects beautifully on the polished concrete.
不思議な地下空間 / Mysterious underground space
地下へと続く階段。

不思議な空間。これは訪れた人にしか体感できない内容でした。
A mysterious space. This was something that only visitors could experience.
入口付近の展示 / Exhibit near the entrance
最後に受付付近を改めて眺めてみます。
Finally, let's take another look at the reception area.
「島民の純真素朴さを賞して直島、と命名された」そうです。そんまんまだったのか、、、。
The island was named Naoshima in honor of the islanders' purity and simplicity.
美術館外にある不思議なガラス / Mysterious glass outside the museum
ガラスの三角錐。これが地下の不思議空間の採光窓になっているようです。
A glass triangular pyramid. This seems to be a lighting window in the mysterious underground space.
外観からは想像もつかない、高密度な美術館。直島は安藤忠雄ファンには最高の場所でした。
It was a high-density museum, which you would never guess from the exterior. The best. I could feel the greatness of Tadao Ando.
直島港付近の街中を歩く / Walking in the town near Naoshima Port
街行く観光客を楽しませようと、家の傍らにアート作品がありました。
There was artwork by the house to entertain tourists passing through town.
黒電話！久しぶりに見ました。つづく。
There was a nostalgic telephone from two generations ago.To be continued.
